# Five flows. Sent when they act.

Most email revenue does not come from campaigns. It comes from a handful of automated flows that fire on what people do. These are the five we build first for every client, in the order we build them.

- **41%** Of email revenue comes from flows, from 5.3% of sends (Klaviyo benchmarks)
- **18x** Revenue per recipient, flows versus campaigns (Klaviyo benchmarks)
- **3.33%** Average placed order rate of abandoned cart flows (Klaviyo benchmark, 2023 data)

## What is inside: 6 steps in 4 pages

1. **Welcome.** Starts on signup. Three emails in the first week: deliver what they signed up for, say who you are, give one clear next step.
2. **Abandoned checkout.** Starts when checkout begins and no order follows. First email within the hour, answering cost and shipping.
3. **Browse abandonment.** Starts when a known visitor views a product or service page and leaves without acting. Lighter than the cart flow: one or two short emails.
4. **Post-purchase or post-enquiry.**
5. **Winback.**
6. **Measure every flow monthly.**
