Over 15 years he has coached professional boxing champions and footballers. The service is premium, in person and personal, and the site had to signal authority and results immediately, without the generic personal-trainer template look. Many personal-trainer sites follow the same template, and for a coach whose clients include elite athletes, that look costs credibility before a word is read. The brief asked for a site matched to the standard of the clients he trains, and one that makes it easy for the right kind of client to get in touch. ## What we built We designed and built davies.london as a dark, disciplined, image-led site, matched to the standard of the clients he trains. Real training imagery carries the pages. The structure is editorial: a clear breakdown of his coaching specialisms across strength, hypertrophy, recomposition, boxing, mobility and mindset, a presentation of his qualifications and background, and a direct contact flow that gets a serious enquiry to Matthew without detours. The design system is responsive and built in a dark, premium palette, so the site works on a phone as well as on a desktop. Like every project we ship, this one is AI SEO optimized: built to be found in Google and in the answers of AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude. ## The result An editorial site built around real training imagery, a clear account of what Matthew coaches and why he is qualified to, and a direct path to contact. It is built to turn a serious visitor into an enquiry. We are not quoting enquiry numbers here. This is a build, and the figures belong to Matthew's practice. ## What this means for a business like yours If you sell a premium personal service, a potential client judges it by the website before making contact, and a template undersells you before you have said a word. A build like this is our website work for service businesses: brand-led design, image-led pages, and a direct contact flow for the right client. The first step is a free 15-minute call about who you want to attract, who you do not, and how they find you today. ## Numbers - **98** PageSpeed performance, mobile, on the live site (accessibility 96, best practices 100, SEO 100; Google PageSpeed Insights, measured 16 October 2026) ## Up close Parts of davies.london, as built: - The hero - Expertise in six areas - The coach's story - Questions in an accordion ## What we delivered - Brand-led homepage and full site design (davies.london) - Coaching specialism breakdown (strength, hypertrophy, recomposition, boxing, mobility, mindset) - Qualifications and background presentation - Direct contact flow - Responsive, image-led design system in a dark, premium palette ## Where this fits - [Website](https://proofofpixel.agency/services/websites): the service behind this work - Next project: [Life Experts: Website Design & Build](https://proofofpixel.agency/work/lifeexperts) - [Free audit of your site](https://proofofpixel.agency/free-audit) - [All work](https://proofofpixel.agency/work) Proof of Pixel: marketing and consulting agency.
