An event invite for an architecture studio: the date set in a drawing title block, the evening drawn as a route on the studio plan.

The brief

Invite the studio list to the open evening and get the replies in before the sixty places go.

What we designed

The title sits light on a concrete photograph, closed with the studio's red full stop. The date, time and place are set in an architect's title block, drawing number included.

The plan of the studio shows the route through the evening in red, from the lane to drinks in the courtyard, and the reply button is a red ring with an arrow.

How it is built

• The photo header has a VML fallback, so Outlook on Windows shows it too
• 600 px wide, built in tables with inline styles
• A phone layout that stacks below 600 px
• The brand's fonts, with web safe fallbacks for clients that block them
• Images at twice their size for sharp screens, alt text on every one
• Preheader, preferences and unsubscribe in place
