A welcome email for a guided walking company: the Alta Via 1 in seven days as one elevation profile, a hut for every night, and what to pack.

The brief

Welcome new subscribers and give them the one walk to start with.

What we designed

The headline stands over Lago di Braies, where the route starts. The seven days are drawn as an elevation profile, from 1,496 m to the high night at Lagazuoi, and set out as a table of huts, distances and climbs.

How it is built

  • The hut altitudes are in the table as text, under the drawn profile
  • 600 px wide, built in tables with inline styles
  • The brand's fonts, with web safe fallbacks for clients that block them
  • Images at twice their size for sharp screens, alt text on every one
  • Preheader, preferences and unsubscribe in place
