The brief

Loqate is a European fleet tracking company. Its customers are fleet operators, who need to know where every vehicle is and what to do about it. Loqate needed a complete digital presence to serve them: a brand-led website to win the trust of fleet operators, and a SaaS platform behind it that handles live vehicle data, trip history and team management.

The harder problem sat under the interface. Raw GPS data is not useful on its own: a stream of coordinates says nothing about idle time, wasted routes or a vehicle behaving oddly. Fleet managers needed AI to turn that data into decisions.

What we built

We designed and built Loqate from the ground up: the public marketing website at loqate.zone and the full fleet tracking platform behind it. The site and the app share one design language, so the product a customer signs up for looks like the site that convinced them.

The platform tracks vehicles with real-time GPS, detects trips automatically and keeps the trip history, with fleet analytics and reporting on top. An AI layer reads the data and surfaces what matters: anomalies, idle time alerts, route optimisation suggestions, and a weekly fleet summary written in plain language. Authentication, billing and team management are built in.

Developers get a REST API, real-time streaming, webhooks and SDKs for TypeScript and Go, and the platform is MCP-ready, so AI tools can query assets, pull trip data and trigger alerts. The interface on both sides is minimal, so a manager finds the detail fast.

Like every project we ship, this one is AI SEO optimized: built to be found in Google and in the answers of AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude.

The result

One product. Fleet managers get a single place to see where every vehicle is, where it has been and where it is going, with an AI layer that tells them in plain language what deserves attention each week. The site and the app read as one product.

We are not quoting usage figures here. Vehicles tracked, trips detected and fleet managers onboarded are Loqate's numbers to share. What the team says: the AI insights help their customers make decisions.
